About this production

Comité Colbert presents Hidden Treasures, 250 Years of Franco-American Luxury Stories, an exhibition bringing together more than 65 French luxury Maisons and cultural institutions to unveil never-before-seen American archives. Presented as part of the celebrations marking 250 years of friendship between France and the United States, the exhibition highlights the enduring cultural ties that have shaped both nations.

Structured across five thematic chapters, it traces over two centuries of artistic exchange and creative resonance between France and the United States. Each participating Maison is represented through a dedicated display of a singular artifact, revealing how luxury, craftsmanship, and cultural dialogue have shaped diplomacy, identity, and popular culture across the Atlantic.

Through fashion, gastronomy, design, fragrance, jewelry, and beyond, Hidden Treasures invites visitors to rediscover French luxury as a living, evolving force—one that continues to inspire connection, innovation, and shared imagination between the two nations.
